Quantity:

Handmade Japanese candles made from 100% natural sumac wax. The candle wicks are hollow on the inside and are made of washi paper, rush stalks and silk fibers. A piece of washi paper is first rolled up, wrapped with rush stalks and held together with silk fibers. These candles burn beautifully with a larger and brighter flame than traditional paraffin candles. Because only natural ingredients are used, they produce less soot and release fewer unpleasant odors.

Suitable for RIPPOH candlesticks (white, black and beige) or KOMA S.

The Daiyo family company was founded in 1914 in Shiga Prefecture, Japan. Now in the fourth generation, they produce authentic Japanese candles that are known nationwide for their quality and beauty. All Daiyo candles are elaborately handcrafted by master craftsmen using traditional methods and exclusively from vegetable waxes. It is said that there are only 10 master craftsmen left in Japan who have mastered this traditional way of making candles.

DAIYO, with its hundred-year history, uses 100% domestic and natural vegetable wax, which is carefully handcrafted by the craftsmen. By using a sustainable resource, the Japanese candles for home use do not produce smoke, nor does the melted wax flow out of the candle. The candles are also virtually odorless. Environmental friendliness is the greatest feature of Daiyo Japanese candles.
