KOME-NO-MEGUNI means blessing of the rice. Rice has been the most important staple food in Japan since ancient times. These candles are made with rice bran wax and only take about 30 minutes to burn. The light can give you time to have a cup of tea or listen to your favorite music. A kind of timer that never makes you feel rushed.

Takazawa candles are known in Japan for their particularly bright and strong flame. This is because the wick's hollow core draws in oxygen from below, increasing combustion efficiency and creating a strong flame. Thanks to the use of natural, plant-based waxes, Takazawa candles burn fragrance-free with minimal smoke development.

The candle holder KOMA S or with RIPPOH (from DAIYO) goes well with this.

Founded in 1892, Takazawa Candle is one of the oldest candle heart makers in Japan. The manufactory produces traditional candles, also known as Warousoku, from purely plant-based raw materials. The production of the candles is based on a technique that has not changed since the 16th century.
